September 2, 2024: Mitchell, SD 57301 The Brookings Bobcats walloped the host Mitchell Kernels football team by a score of 43-6 in Monday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bobcats face the Yankton Bucks/Gazelles (Yankton, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 23. Brookings will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Bucks/Gazelles enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 47-6 non-league win over Mitchell (Mitchell, SD).
The Kernels (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record.
