September 2, 2025: Parker, CO 80134 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO) and the visiting Smoky Hill Buffaloes (Aurora, CO), saw Ponderosa's volleyball squad nudge Smoky Hill by a score of 2-1.
With the win, Ponderosa improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Chaparral (Parker, CO) to battle the Wolverines in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 9. The Wolverines enter the battle with a record of 5-0. Chaparral won 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Fossil Ridge (Fort Collins, CO)
The Buffaloes now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thomas Jefferson for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4.
