In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Bishop Amat Lancers flag football squad scored a close 12-6 triumph over the La Serna Lancers.

The Lancers (11-2) will now prepare for their match against Upland (Upland, CA). The Highlanders/Scots go into the non-league battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, Upland nipped San Dimas (San Dimas, CA), 47-14, in a non-league battle.

The Lancers now have a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Downey for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 3. La Serna will play a Vikings team coming off a 14-13 non-league win over Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 9-3.
