The crowd at Tuesday's league contest between the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) and the host Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO), witnessed Mountain Vista's flag football squad wallop Ponderosa by a tally of 55-7.

The Golden Eagles (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Grizzlies enter the 5A/4A Continental contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, ThunderRidge was trounced by Chaparral (Parker, CO), 33-18, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Mustangs battle the Heritage Eagles (Littleton, CO) in a 5A/4A Continental contest, on Wednesday, September 3. Ponderosa will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 18-0 non-league loss to Pomona (Arvada, CO).
