West Virginia High School Soccer - Spring Valley knocks off Greenup County
September 2, 2025: Huntington, WV 25704 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Spring Valley Timberwolves soccer squad scored a nice 9-1 win over the Greenup County Musketeers.
The Timberwolves (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against George Washington (Charleston, WV). The Patriots enter the non-league outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, George Washington was overwhelmed by Nitro (Nitro, WV), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
In their next game, the Musketeers clash with the West Carter Comets (Olive Hill, KY) in a District 62 test, on Thursday, September 4. Greenup County will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Comets come into the test with a 2-5 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Russell (Russell, KY).
