September 2, 2025: North Vernon, IN 47265 Columbus East Olympians (Columbus, IN) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Jennings County Panthers (North Vernon, IN), 2-0 in a league test.
With the win, Columbus East improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Olympians travel to Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN) to face the Red Devils in a test on Wednesday, September 3. The Red Devils go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greenwood for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. Jennings County will meet a Woodmen team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN). The Woodmen record now stands at 2-5.
