In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting River Forest Ingots volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Hammond Academy of Science & Tech Hawks.

The Ingots (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Hammond Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN). The Warriors go into the test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Hammond Bishop Noll was edged by Harrison (West Lafayette, IN), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
