Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Monticello Sages (Monticello, IL) and the host Meridian Hawks (Macon, IL), observed Monticello's volleyball squad notch a victory over Meridian by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Monticello improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Sages travel to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IL) to encounter the Rams in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 11. The Rams go into the battle with a record of 2-1.
