September 2, 2025: Bangor, PA 18013 The Bangor Slaters soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Notre Dame Spartans to 1 in the Slaters non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Slaters now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Notre Dame-Green Pond for a Colonial bout on Thursday, September 4. Bangor will play a Crusaders squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Notre Dame moves to 0-3 on the year. The Spartans host Minersville (Minersville, PA) to play the Battlin' Miners in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. The Battlin' Miners go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Minersville won 6-1 in their recent non-league bout against Weatherly (Weatherly, PA)
