September 2, 2025: Belleville, NJ 07109 Belleville Buccaneers (Belleville, NJ) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the visiting Newark Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ), 3-0 in a non-league outing.
The Buccaneers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Nutley (Nutley, NJ). The Maroon Raiders come into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Nutley edged Barringer (Newark, NJ), 3-2, in a non-league test.
The Blue Devils now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Barringer for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Newark Central will play a Blue Bears squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Nutley (Nutley, NJ). The Blue Bears record now stands at 0-1.
