In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Burlington Christian Academy Royals soccer squad scored a tight 4-2 victory over the River Mill Jaguars.
The Royals (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Carolina Friends (Durham, NC). The Quakers come into the NCISAA Central Carolina Athletic test with a 1-3 record.
The Jaguars now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woods Charter for a Central Tar Heel 1A test on Monday, September 8.
