Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Riverside knocks off Carbondale Area
September 2, 2025: Taylor, PA 18517 The Riverside Vikings (Taylor, PA) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Carbondale Area Chargers (Carbondale, PA), 8-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montrose for a Lackawanna - Division III contest on Thursday, September 4. Riverside will battle a Meteors team coming off a 8-0 league win over Forest City (Forest City, PA). The Meteors record now stands at 1-0.
The Chargers (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Blue Ridge (New Milford, PA). The Raiders go into the Lackawanna - Division III challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Blue Ridge was overwhelmed by Old Forge (Old Forge, PA), 3-2, in a league challenge.
