North Carolina High School Soccer - Montgomery Central holds off Gray Stone Day
September 2, 2025: Misenheimer, NC 28109 Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Montgomery Central moves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host West Stanly (Oakboro, NC) to clash with the Colts in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Colts come into the test with a record of 2-4. West Stanly lost 2-1 in their recent league outing against Parkwood (Monroe, NC)
Next up, the Knights confront the Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 4. Gray Stone Day will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Stallions go into the outing with a 2-4 record after their 4-1 league win over Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy (Huntersville, NC).
