September 2, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87121 Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Highland moves its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Manzano (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Monarchs in a non-league test on Monday, September 8. The Monarchs come into the test with a record of 3-1. Manzano lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Santa Fe Prep (Santa Fe, NM)
The Mustangs now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Eldorado for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. West Mesa will confront a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 1-1 non-league St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
