Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Jim Thorpe toppled by Northwestern Lehigh
September 2, 2025: New Tripoli, PA 18066 Northwestern Lehigh Tigers (New Tripoli, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Jim Thorpe Olympians (Jim Thorpe, PA), 11-3 in a league test.
With the triumph, Northwestern Lehigh advances its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Palisades (Kintnersville, PA) to play the Pirates in a Colonial bout on Thursday, September 4. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Palisades won 1-0 in their recent league bout against Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA)
With the loss, Jim Thorpe moves to 3-1 on the year. The Olympians host Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA) to play the Panthers in a Colonial bout on Thursday, September 4. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Saucon Valley won 10-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lincoln Leadership Academy (Allentown, PA)
