Wisconsin High School Soccer - Waupaca toppled by Shawano Community
September 2, 2025: Shawano, WI 54166 Shawano Community Hawks (Shawano, WI) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Waupaca Comets (Waupaca, WI), 8-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Shawano Community improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Hawks travel to Seymour (Seymour, WI) to confront the Thunder in a Bay outing on Thursday, September 4. The Thunder go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Seymour lost 4-0 in their recent non-league outing against Green Bay Southwest (Green Bay, WI)
Next up, the Comets play the Wrightstown Tigers (Wrightstown, WI) in a North Eastern outing, on Thursday, September 4. Waupaca will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Kingsford (Kingsford, MI).
