New York High School Soccer - Williamsville East knocks off Starpoint
September 2, 2025: East Amherst, NY 14051 The Williamsville East Flames (East Amherst, NY) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Starpoint Spartans (Lockport, NY), 7-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Flames now hold a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Hamburg for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 4. Williamsville East will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over International Prep at Grover (Buffalo, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Starpoint moves to 0-2 on the year. The Spartans host Lackawanna (Lackawanna, NY) to encounter the Steelers in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 15. The Steelers go into the challenge with a record of 3-0.
