Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines (Wilber, NE) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Milford Eagles (Milford, NE), 7-5 in a league game.

With the triumph, Wilber-Clatonia upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Auburn (Auburn, NE) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Thursday, September 4. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Auburn won 10-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Plattsmouth (Plattsmouth, NE)

The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Malcolm (Malcolm, NE). The Clippers enter the C District challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Malcolm by Ralston (Ralston, NE), 11-0, in a non-league challenge.
