The Valley Vikings softball squad (Gilcrest, CO), 7-5 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Northridge Grizzlies (Greeley, CO)

With the triumph, Northridge improves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Grizzlies host Wellington (Wellington, CO) to clash with the Eagles in a 4A/3A Longs Peak bout on Thursday, September 4. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Wellington lost 6-2 in their recent league bout against Severance (Severance, CO)

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Platte Valley Broncos (Kersey, CO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 4. Valley will attempt to advance on its 3-7 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 14-0 non-league loss to Forge Christian (Arvada, CO).
