Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Alleluia Community Angels (Augusta, GA) and the visiting Aquinas Fightin' Irish (Augusta, GA), observed Alleluia Community's volleyball team top Aquinas by a count of 2-0.

The Angels (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Grovetown (Grovetown, GA). The Warriors go into the non-league battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Grovetown achieved victory over Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Fightin' Irish now own a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fox Creek for a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 3. Aquinas will meet a Predators team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Academy of Richmond County (Augusta, GA). The Predators record now stands at 7-5.
