Georgia High School Volleyball - Banneker over Salem
September 2, 2025: Conyers, GA 30013 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA) and the host Salem Seminoles (Conyers, GA), saw Banneker's volleyball squad notch a victory over Salem by a score of 2-0.
With the win, Banneker improves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 7-13. Chattahoochee lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA)
Next, the Seminoles battle the Columbia Eagles (Decatur, GA) in a 2A Area 6 contest, on Tuesday, September 9. Salem will attempt to move on its 0-11 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 2-9 record after their 2-0 league loss to Redan (Stone Mountain, GA).
