Next up, the Wildcats confront the Alburnett Pirates (Alburnett, IA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 4. Durant will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Pirates go into the game with a 2-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over North Linn (Troy Mills, IA).
The Comets (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Monticello (Monticello, IA). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Monticello was edged by Beckman (Dyersville, IA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
