In Tuesday's league challenge, the host South Allegheny Gladiators volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the Carlynton Cougars.

With the win, South Allegheny improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Gladiators travel to Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA) to face the Golden Eagles in a WPIAL 2A 2 test on Thursday, September 4. The Golden Eagles go into the test with a record of 0-1.

The Cougars now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Steel Valley for a WPIAL 2A 2 test on Thursday, September 4.
