Illinois High School Volleyball - Clifton Central can't get by Dwight
September 2, 2025: Clifton, IL 60927 The Dwight Trojans nudged the host Clifton Central Comets volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Trojans now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lexington for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 3. Dwight will play a Minutemen team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL). The Minutemen record now stands at 7-0.
With the loss, Clifton Central drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Illinois Lutheran (Crete, IL) to play the Chargers in a River Valley outing on Thursday, September 4. The Chargers come into the outing with a record of 1-2. Illinois Lutheran lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Iroquois West (Gilman, IL)
