September 2, 2025: New Castle, VA 24127 In Tuesday's non-league test, the visiting Staunton River Golden Eagles volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Craig County Rockets.
With the win, Staunton River improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Liberty (Bedford, VA) to face the Minutemen in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Minutemen go into the test with a record of 0-3. Liberty lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against James River (Buchanan, VA)
Next, the Rockets meet the Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Craig County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Colonels come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Martinsville (Martinsville, VA).
