September 2, 2025: Sewanee, TN 37375 Fayetteville Tigers (Fayetteville, TN) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host St. Andrews-Sewanee Mountain Lions (Sewanee, TN), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Fayetteville advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Culleoka (Culleoka, TN) to face the Warriors in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 2-0. Culleoka won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Moore County (Lynchburg, TN)
The Mountain Lions now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Grace Baptist Academy for a D-II A District 2 challenge on Thursday, September 4. St. Andrews-Sewanee will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hardy Memorial (South Pittsburg, TN). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
