Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC) and the visiting Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans (Henderson, NC), observed Halifax Academy's volleyball team top Kerr-Vance Academy by a tally of 3-0.

The Vikings (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC). The Rams enter the NCISAA Tarheel Independent contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Ridgecroft beat The Oakwood School (Greenville, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Spartans meet the Brunswick Academy Vikings (Lawrenceville, VA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, September 3. Kerr-Vance Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record.
