September 2, 2025: Marshalltown, IA 50158 Marshalltown Bobcats (Marshalltown, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Hoover Huskies (Des Moines, IA), 3-0 in a league challenge.
The Bobcats (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Waverly-Shell Rock (Waverly, IA). The Go-Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Waverly-Shell Rock was beaten by Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Huskies meet the Ottumwa Bulldogs (Ottumwa, IA) in a Iowa Alliance - North challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Hoover will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Ames (Ames, IA).
