Loara Saxons (Anaheim, CA) followers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Saddleback Roadrunners (Santa Ana, CA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Saxons (3-10) will now prepare for their test against El Modena (Orange, CA). The Vanguards go into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, El Modena went down by Oxford Academy (Cypress, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Roadrunners now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western for a test on Thursday, September 4. Saddleback will play a Pioneers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Orange (Orange, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 6-1.
