Mississippi High School Volleyball - Noxubee County overwhelmed by Winona
September 2, 2025: Winona, MS 38967 Winona Tigers (Winona, MS) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Noxubee County Tigers (Macon, MS), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Winona upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Senatobia (Senatobia, MS) to play the Warriors in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 4-6. Senatobia won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against South Panola (Batesville, MS)
With the loss, Noxubee County drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS) to confront the Chargers in a Class 3A Region 4 game on Thursday, September 4. The Chargers enter the game with a record of 6-5. Choctaw County won 3-2 in their recent league game against Nettleton (Nettleton, MS)
