In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Stafford Trojans volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Otis-Bison Cougars.

The Trojans (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Ellis (Ellis, KS). The Railroaders come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record.

Next, the Cougars play the LaCrosse Leopards (LaCrosse, KS) in a Central Prairie challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Otis-Bison will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
