The Center Cougars football team (Antelope, CA), was beaten 34-22 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA)

The Indians (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Calaveras (San Andreas, CA). The come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Calaveras was beaten by Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA), 49-34, in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Fairfield for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 10. Center will meet a Falcons team coming off a 24-7 non-league loss to Vallejo (Vallejo, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.
