The Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE) football defeated the visiting Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE), 31-8 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Dragons face the Papillion-LaVista South Titans (Papillion, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 10. Gretna will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Titans enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 32-28 non-league win over Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE).

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE). The Storm enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Elkhorn South lost by Millard South (Omaha, NE), 33-7, in a non-league bout.
