The Halifax Wildcats football team (Halifax, PA), was knocked off 50-39 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting James Buchanan Rockets (Mercersburg, PA)

The Rockets (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Boiling Springs (Boiling Springs, PA). The Bubblers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Boiling Springs was knocked off by Chapman (Inman, SC), 41-17, in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Big Spring for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 10. Halifax will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 34-14 non-league loss to Shippensburg (Shippensburg, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
