In Friday's non-league match, the host Ripley Tigers football squad scored a big 62-0 victory over the Holly Springs Hawks.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Kossuth Aggies (Kossuth, MS) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 10. Ripley will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Aggies enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Corinth (Corinth, MS).
