Maryland High School Football - Loyola Blakefield can't get by St. Mary's
September 3, 2021: Annapolis, MD 21401 St. Mary's Saints (Annapolis, MD) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Loyola Blakefield Dons (Towson, MD), 14-12 in a league test.
With the triumph, St. Mary's improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Saints host St. Paul's (Brooklandville, MD) to confront the Crusaders in a MIAA B test on Friday, September 10. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 1-0. St. Paul's won 42-0 in their recent non-league test against Severn School (Severna Park, MD)
With the loss, Loyola Blakefield drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Dons travel to Boys Latin (Baltimore, MD) to confront the Lakers in a MIAA B test on Friday, September 10. The Lakers come into the test with a record of 2-0. Boys Latin won 17-3 in their recent league test against John Carroll (Bel Air, MD)
