The Seguin Matadors football team (Seguin, TX), was beaten 35-15 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX)

The Unicorns (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Canyon (New Braunfels, TX). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Canyon knocked off Clark (San Antonio, TX), 41-31, in a non-league challenge.

The Matadors now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Veterans Memorial for a 5A-1 Region III District 12 challenge on Friday, September 17.
