In Friday's non-league contest, the Plattsmouth Blue Devils (Plattsmouth, NE) softball team overwhelmed the host Bryan Bears (Omaha, NE), by a margin of 7-2.

With the triumph, Plattsmouth moves its record to 3-6 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Omaha Northwest (Omaha, NE) to play the Huskies in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 4.
