DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host St. George's Gryphons (Collierville, TN), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Summit Spartans (Spring Hill, TN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 4. DeSoto Central will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record. The Spartans come into the match with a 9-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Arlington (Arlington, TN).

With the loss, St. George's drops to 4-7 on the campaign. The Gryphons travel to Summit (Spring Hill, TN) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league match on Friday, September 3.
