In Friday's non-league battle, the host Glenbrook North Spartans volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Hamilton Chargers.

The Spartans (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Wheeling (Wheeling, IL). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Wheeling was edged by Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
