Jones Eagles (Chicago, IL) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles confront the Chicago Washington Patriots (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public Premier South challenge, on Wednesday, September 7. Jones will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL).
