Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IN) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Pike Central Chargers (Petersburg, IN), 3-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers confront the Wood Memorial Trojans (Oakland City, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 10. Princeton will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record.

The Chargers now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Knox for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 6. Pike Central will confront a Spartans team coming off a 5-1 league win over Vincennes Rivet (Vincennes, IN). The Spartans record now stands at 5-0.
