September 3, 2022: Pinson, AL 35126 The Clay-Chalkville Cougars topped the visiting Sumiton Christian Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saint James for a non-league test on Saturday, September 3. Clay-Chalkville will confront a Trojans team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Pike Road (Pike Road, AL). The Trojans record now stands at 4-7.
The Eagles (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Victory Christian (Pell City, AL). The Lions enter the 1A Area 11 test with a 0-2 record.
