The Lemont Lemont HS held off the host Plainfield East Bengals volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Lemont HS now have a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Forest for a South Suburban test on Tuesday, September 6. Lemont will confront a Bengals team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Peotone (Peotone, IL). The Bengals record now stands at 1-3.

The Bengals (1-11) will now prepare for their test against Romeoville (Romeoville, IL). The Spartans enter the Southwest Prairie test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Romeoville was nudged by Naperville Central (Naperville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
