The Morrison Mustangs volleyball team (Morrison, IL), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL)

The Rams (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL). The Comets enter the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Newman Central Catholic nipped Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Monmouth-Roseville Titans (Monmouth, IL) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Thursday, September 8. Morrison will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Titans enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Knoxville (Knoxville, IL).
