Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Notre Dame-Green Pond can't hold off Upper Merion Area

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Upper Merion Area Vikings volleyball team scored a tight 1-0 triumph over the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders.

The Vikings (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Freedom (Bethlehem, PA). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Freedom was edged by Nazareth Area (Nazareth, PA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Crusaders clash with the Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, September 7. Notre Dame-Green Pond will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.
