September 3, 2024: Crossville, TN 38555 Spectators at Tuesday's league challenge between the DeKalb County Tigers (Smithville, TN) and the host Cumberland County Jets (Crossville, TN), observed DeKalb County's soccer squad nudge Cumberland County by a margin of 2-1.
The Tigers now hold a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to David Crockett for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 6. DeKalb County will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Elizabethton (Elizabethton, TN). The Pioneers record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Cumberland County moves to 2-4 on the year. The Jets travel to Watertown (Watertown, TN) to encounter the Purple Tigers in a AA District 7 challenge on Thursday, September 5.
