North Carolina High School Soccer - New Bern nudged by New Hanover
September 3, 2024: Wilmington, NC 28401 New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, New Hanover moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC) to clash with the Centurions in a non-league test on Friday, September 6. The Centurions come into the test with a record of 1-2. Coastal Christian lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Ashley (Wilmington, NC)
The Bears now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host White Oak for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. New Bern will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 0-5.
