North Carolina High School Soccer - North Brunswick knocks off Pender
September 3, 2024: Burgaw, NC 28425 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) and the host Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC), saw North Brunswick's soccer squad triumph over Pender by a score of 6-1.
The Scorpions (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Southeastern HomeSchool (Wilmington, NC). The Cardinals enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Southeastern HomeSchool was overwhelmed by Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Patriots confront the East Columbus Gators (Lake Waccamaw, NC) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, September 11. Pender will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Gators enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC).
