Kentucky High School Soccer - Owensboro knocks off Grayson County
September 3, 2024: Owensboro, KY 42301 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Owensboro Red Devils (Owensboro, KY) and the visiting Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY), saw Owensboro's soccer squad triumph over Grayson County by a count of 8-0.
The Red Devils (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Apollo (Owensboro, KY). The Eagles enter the District 9 battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Apollo notched a victory over Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY), 7-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Cougars battle the Muhlenberg County Mustangs (Greenville, KY) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 5. Grayson County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 3-4 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Owensboro Catholic (Owensboro, KY).
